Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its result. Fremont County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained so that we can answer it. We keep the message within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers receive basic technical details when a page loads, including:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They help show, in aggregate, which pages are used and where visits end. Analytics services assist with that measurement. A browser can be set to reject cookies, although some site features may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Collected information is used to operate, maintain, measure, and protect the site and its search connections.
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Fremont County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of case records or court dockets. It publishes reference information about Fremont Combined Court, municipal clerks, and Colorado's docket and record-request channels. Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is subject to that provider's privacy policy, retention choices, and sharing practices. Review those terms before running a search because this policy does not control the provider.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Colorado Judicial, Fremont County, city courts, outside search tools, or other resources. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy governs. Read it before providing personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and select ads. We do not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard safeguards for collected information. No internet system is perfectly secure, so those measures cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If such information is identified, we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Privacy and consumer-protection laws may give you rights concerning personal data. Access to Colorado court case records is separately controlled by Chief Justice Directive 05-01. The Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. §§ 24-72-200.1 et seq., applies to many other public records. For personal information held by this private website, you may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised. A changed version will be posted here with a new effective date.
